Abstract | This study attempts to test the hypothesis that the major problem that besets the small business enterprises is the inadequacy of the entrepreneur's managerial know-how and skill. A survey of the literature on the managerial problems in small business enterprises was undertaken. Linkages between the collated managerial problems was developed and diagrams showing these linkages were formulated. Utilizing the linkages thus established, the hypothesis was subjected to an argumentative test to determine its validity. The argumentative test favorably established the validity of the initial hypothesis. |
