AbstractThe importance of physical and chemical parameters and parameter ranges in describing performances of road fill are discussed. The study is supported by capability classification of soils in Phetchabun Province, The classification is found out to be the same when compared with that of the Department of Highways. The suitability rating of the soil interpretation system is useful and applicable to Thai conditions, although it needs some modifications to make it more workable.
