Abstract | The results of environmental impact study at the pre-implementation stage of the Srinagarind Project were reviewed. The emphasis was placed to the recommendation which stated the necessary follow-up study of important environmental components after the implementation of the project. The field investigation was carried out during September and December 1981 to collect pertinent data and information relating to the environment of the existing project area and its vicinity. Those findings were analyzed by item technique for actual environmental effects of the project. With these results, the comparison between the post-implementation and pre-implementation studies was then followed. Recommendations were made to be used as baseline information for environmental impact study of the future water resources development projects. |
