Service centre plays an important roles to the improvement of rural people's lives. This study is mainly considered on how effective service centres have to the provision at service facilities to rural villagers. To see the role of service centres, three main activities have been studied: the economic, social and non-agricultural. employment. The economic activities deal with the transactions of rural. people to service centres and the non-agricultural employment with the mobilization of non-agricultural. employment that search tor job in service centres. The findings show that the service centres have the ability· to provide service facilities to the nearby community for both economic and social activities of the villagers for both economic and social activities of the villagers while they could not serve much to those who stay at the farther distances. For non-agricultural employment, the service centres have served the workers as the source of employment to workers who reside in and outside the centers. |
