AbstractOne of the objectives of this study was to evaluate the feasibility of field consulting by non-Thai graduates in the Division with local Thai small enterprises. It was found that a conscientious workmanship, a sound knowledge of the Thai culture, and a fair sprinkling of inspiration and perseverance combined with intuition and the ability to adapt are the necessary factors in successfully undertaking the field consultation assignment. The second objective was to evaluate the management activities of a milk distribution company owned by a local Thai in Bangkok. It was found that the attitude of "buying cheap and selling dear" and the prevalent opinion that successful entrepreneurs are also good administrators/managers were the causes of the workers' discontentment and decline in sales during the recent months in the company. The marketing management approach was used to analyze the company's strength and weaknesses. The final part provides the recommendations to meet the new objective of the company which is "maintaining profitability for the next three years" instead of continuation of high growth as before.
