AbstractThe Bung Boraped Lake is ~n inland lake of which the main purpose is for fishery and the minor activity is for irrigation. The sedimentation not only create rapid rate of aquatic weed growth but also the intrusion of people that use the newly formed land along the shore line for growing paddy and for lotus farming. More seriously is the decline in the production of fishery due to both overfishing and intensive growth of water weeds. Thus a rehabilitation program should be carried out. The simulation to find the amount of inflow and outflow that can help in deciding the new retention level, the plan of utilizing the increased lake yield for irrigated agriculture, the modification of outlet structures, the proposed ring road for storing water and the drainage canal which will help releasing the flood outside the lake that would be caused by the ring road, are the topics that were investigated. After the proposed rehabilitation schemes are carried out the benefit from fishery and irrigation will be increased and also the recreational activities can be introduced,
