Abstract | This study describes an analysis of accident causes that occurred in Taiwan Area North-South Freeway during the period from July 1974 until December 1979. The main purpose of this study is to research into the principal causes of accidents on the Freeway by using the methods of multivariate analysis, which are Quantification Theory Third Family, Cluster Analysis Model, and Multiple Regression Analysis, with the aid of computer program developed. Suitable recommendations were made, with the results obtained from the' analysis, for further action. |
