Abstract | With pace of time, a number of management theories have been developed. None of these theories covers all the situations that the managers encounter in managing organizations. This study aims to examine the development theories, and their applicability in developing countries. Management theories since early 1800s were presented in chronological order. The case of Bangladesh was chosen to examine the theories in developing country's context. |
