AbstractMore than 4.5 million cubic meters of aggregate are being used each year in Bangkok, and more than 2.5 million cubic meters of ready mixed concrete are being used each year in Bangkok also. 10 samples of coarse rock aggregate from Saraburi province, 7 samples from Ratburi province, 3 samples from Lopburi province, 2 samples from Chonburi province and 2 samples from Kanchanaburi province were tested . According to the test results aggregates from Saraburi province & Ratburi province, are suitable for use as construction imatenals. Test results of aggregate from the different localities were compared. The prices of the coarse aggregate at Bangkok were analyzed, and found that the prices of aggregates at Bangkok are mainly controlled by mode of transportation and hauling distance.
