AbstractThis study is concerned with the development of class Time-table Scheduling System for the Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok , Thailand. The author has designed an APL based Scheduling System. In the initial phase a graph-coloring algorithm is utilized to get a minimum number of partitions of disjointed courses. A heuristic procedure, which takes advantage of the partitions created in t he initial phase, is used in the latter phase to schedule the courses. Finally, necessary changes may be made by interactive post- scheduling within the time-table.
