| Abstract | The scheme on the preparation for an engineering manual for Thai timber is provided. Up till now, there has not been any of this sort of manual published in the country and existing foreign manuals are not quite suitable
due to the differences in properties of timbers. Presented in this study are the identification of some common local timbers, their availabities
and suggestions for the property testing and stress-grading techniques of local merchantable timbers. |
