AbstractIn this study, the solution of reinforced concrete floor slab combined with skin plate subjected t o a vertical concentrated force is formulated. Taking the advantage of orthogonality condition of Fourier series and using the Galerkin approach for three dimensional problem by applying the appropriate boundary conditions, the complicated differential governing equations are changed to the infinite linear simultaneous equations for obtaining the constant coefficients. By substituting the values of constant coefficients, all stresses and displacements may be obtained with no difficulty.
