| Abstract | Years ago, Ha Tien did not care much for long-term strategy that company is only interested in short-term annual plans. After Vietnam has deeper integration with the world, domestic companies expand overseas markets as well as foreign corporations in Vietnam. This creates opportunities and challenges for businesses of Vietnam. Therefore, Ha Tien 1 also does not stand outside its rules. Long-term strategy for the period 2016-2020 with orientation to year 2030 is the basis for Ha Tien 1 anticipates the opportunities and challenges them to take the appropriate business plan as well as react to the change from external environment and within the company. Research and development department is an important part of contributing to the success of the company. Therefore, based on the overall strategy of the company, each functional department will develop a strategy by itself to operate department’s activities in accordance with the set objectives. |
