AbstractInnovation offers great opportunities to enhance business processes and improve organization’s performance, and material development is becoming an ever increasing competitive parameter and ScanCom needs to improve our offering to customers. Offering new material will help customers present to the market what end users want. By doing this, ScanCom has proved that it is possible to produce right products to right customers with high quality, unique design and competitive price. But if the development time is too long, then new materials will be old-fashioned, and thus the company will miss a lot of business opportunities due to the delaying. We agreed that the delay and cost overrun seem very popular in most projects, but it can be reduced or totally eliminated by using a proper project performance monitoring and control system that will integrate all the key activities of each phase of the project.
