AbstractThe purpose of this study was to investigate the Design Parameters of Mole Drainage Systems based on experiments carried out in the laboratory under simulated conditions. The effect of moisture content on the form of mole drain and its drainage capability, functional relationship of force requirements to construct the mole drains under different moisture conditions with other variables of mole plow-soil system, and functional relationship of rainfall intensity with other mole drainage system variables were investigated for Bangkok clay soil. Based upon the basic information available regarding rain fall intensity in the area to be drained, ,.existing infiltration rate of the field and available power unit, the suitable diameter, depth and spacing of mole drains can be find out from the investigated functional relationships.
