| Abstract | The slenderness effect on reinforced concrete columns were studied by using numerical analysis based on the non-linear elastic proper ties of the material. The slenderness ratios were varied from 5 t o 60 and el the end of eccentricities, e-e1- e2 were varied as+ 1,000.00, and - 0.98. Furthermore, the creep effect is also incorporated in the study. The results were compared with test data in the past. Finally, ACI and CEB design procedures of long columns were discussed based on the results of the present study. |
