| Abstract | A Paper Manufacturing Co. was selected for the purpose of the study. First, the background, the process and the major equipment's under study were
described. The elements of the management information and control system for the maintenance activities of the plant were explained and some
suggestions for improvement were made. Finally, a mathematical model for
scheduling optimal interval of Preventive Maintenance was developed and available data were analyzed to set up an optimal interval for the Preventive Maintenance. |
