| Abstract | This research explores the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in music composition within the Vietnamese market. It aims to assess current adoption levels, identify opportunities and challenges, and propose recommendations for sustainable integration of AI in the music industry.Using a mixed-method approach combining surveys of 17 musicians and producers, in-depth interviews, and content analysis of AI-generated music, the study reveals that while AI offers significant benefits in terms of creativity, cost efficiency, and production speed, concerns remain regarding copyright, authenticity, and cultural identity.
The findings suggest that Vietnam can leverage AI for global music competitiveness by investing in AI literacy, establishing clear copyright regulations, and promoting collaborations between artists and technologists. |
