| Abstract | Road infrastructure is important component of the transportation system since it is linked to the development of the nation. Nevertheless, road infrastructure is especially susceptible to climate change due to its exposure to various environmental conditions. Myanmar is a country which is seriously affected by climate change and it needs adaptation plans to mitigate climate change impacts on road. This thesis assesses the climate-related risks, possible threats posed by climate change to road infrastructure, and the adaptation strategies necessary to combat these climate threats. |
