| Abstract | In recent years, the construction industry in Vietnam has made significant strides, with a series of construction investment projects appearing everywhere, from skyscrapers to critical infrastructure. As a result, the issue of quality is becoming an important aspect worthy of attention. Although quality management issues in Vietnam have been improved by clear regulations, there are still a lot of serious problems that we face every day. This is not only affect the prosperity and sustainability of the construction industry, but also has the potential to have serious consequences for customers and society. We all know that quality management is the common responsibility of all the parties involved in the construction project from the design, construction, supervision and operation stage and in which the role of the investor is very important. To accomplish this task, investors must organize themselves in a timely manner to strictly manage quality, elaborate detailed management plans, rationalize for effective quality control, and closely monitor implementation from the design stage to the completion of the project, etc. It requires research, analysis and evaluation of the quality management system of the investor. So, in this study, these issues have to be carefully analyzed in all phases of the project. Assessment of advantages and disadvantages of quality management methods by the investor has been carried out and identified in an adequate and objective manner. Based on these evaluations, new recommendations, measures and approaches and frameworks are presented for implementation in the quality management of the investors from the initial stage to the completion of the project. |
