| Abstract | It is undeniable that the construction of high-rise buildings demands meticulous planning, with safety planning being a paramount consideration. Abundant data highlights the positive impact of a well-designed safety management system on projects, notably in terms of reducing accidents, incidents, injuries, and illnesses. Furthermore, a thoughtfully prepared management system contributes to enhanced productivity and quality, fosters a conducive working environment, and brings manifold benefits to the company. The longstanding mantra "Safety First!" underscores the crucial role of safety not only in the construction industry but across various business domains. Despite being a challenging issue, safety in construction projects is not insurmountable. Regularly updating the management system allows managers to progressively enhance safety standards. While Vietnam is actively taking measures to minimize accidents and incidents in construction projects, the safety statistics still fall short of expectations. In examining the safety management plan applied in the Vega City project as a case study, I aim to analyze its strengths and weaknesses and provide recommendations for enhancing the management system by establishing a comprehensive framework for safety procedures. |
