| Abstract | Project management is the process of planning, monitoring, and controlling all aspects of a project and managing all components involved in that project to achieve the project's objectives properly. within the approved budget to ensure quality and achieve the specific goals of the project. Project management is the job of applying management functions and activities throughout the life cycle of a project, or in other words, project management is the mobilization of resources and organization of technologies to achieve set goals. . The purpose of project management is to express project goals, management itself is not the goal but the way to achieve the goal.Project Management Units (PMU) carry out project management in phases: - Project Planing Phase ( Pre-Cons Phase ) - - Project Implementation Phase ( Construction Phase) Project Construction Completion Phase ( Post – Cons Phase) To carry out effective project management, PMU needs to focus and improve on solving the following issues: - Project Planning and Scope Management of all parties related Construction Investment Cost and Contracts Management, Construction Quality Management, Implementation Progress Management, Health - Safety - Environmental (HSE) Management, Project Information System Management Risk Management.In this study and research, the problem is that Project Management Units must build roadmaps and plans to improve the organizational structure, training programs to improve professional knowledge and capacity of the participating parties...and especially complete the project management content according to current legal regulations to achieve the most effective project management. |
