AbstractProject schedule and cost planning is an important task which has to be done before the construction actually started. Typical inputs required for the a reasonably successful project schedule plan are establishment of project activities, their logical relationships and interrelationships to each other, and the sequences in which they are to be accomplished. And then assigning activities' duration and identifying the start and completion times of activities, defining milestones of is considered as very important gradients for practicable project scheduling. In this paper, theory of project schedule plan and control, existing practice of project schedule plan and control in this concrete bridge project, analysis strengths, weaknesses and recommendations of Mya Sein Yaung Bridge Project, which is Sittaung-River-Crossing Bridge and very important infrastructure segment for rural villages of Leway Township in Naypyitaw Council Area. is thesis concluded with discussion on learned lessons during the construction project of the Mya Sein Yaung Bridge. eory of project schedule plan and control, their development throughout the project, controlling them, effective utilization of project control tools and other graphical presentation and documentation of Mya Sein Yaung Bridge Project were profoundly discussed in this thesis. is thesis also explains why project planning and scheduling is one of the most important pre-construction tasks determining the success or failure of the project in relation to time and cost.
