| Abstract | Contract management is the most significant part in the construction industries of all time in the world. Studying both theories and practical contract administration is crucial in developing the high level of project management. Along the life cycle of any construction project, making agreements between different stakeholders, the beneficiaries and contractors vary based on the scope and complexity of the projects. As a project manager, there are so many opportunities of learning based on the real project which is a Gravity flow water supply system in La War village in 2020. Both the strengths and weakness were identified for the result-based analysis. The vision of International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) on the humanitarian impact are successfully achieved because of proper management system especially on the contractual aspect. Theories and strategies to be applied on site are planned since the beginning of the project with the involvement of the villagers by themselves. ICRC value the feedback of the villagers and adapt with the core value of the engineering on both civil and hydraulic for the sustainability approach in the village. Contract management in the social development projects is more or less the same as the contract management of the governmental and private sectors. The project brings both the positive and negative practices to be corrected and revised for more optimistic indicators of the project. To conclude, this report points out the facts of contract management is a crucial process in the life cycle of the project management system in any sectors. |
