| Abstract | Delay analysis is very useful when implementing complex projects, allowing project managers to implement the progress of the project. Knowledge of project management including integrated deadline management with delay analysis. Delay analysis of highway projects will help to save the project time and integrate the project development. Government project managers and engineers should have project management skills and be able to manage project schedules. The report suggests how to delay analysis can be applied to future highway projects in Myanmar. The purpose of this report is to examine and analyze the key issues of delay analysis on highway project and to elucidate the wrong sense of management methods. In this case study, determine the possible factors such as materials and environment, including insufficient soil, rework due to CBR failure, difficult coordination to public utilities and to remove underground cable, land approval to get plant machine, supplier delay, unspecified materials, unstable weather conditions, heavy traffic congestion, equipment breakdown, challenges of COVID 19 pandemic and the major delay factors of this project. According to delay analysis, some stages of the project should made recovered schedule plan to finish the project as per schedule. Hope that the delay analysis in this report helps promote the development of Highway construction in Myanmar. |
